More Action Steps in Response to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce

We're hearing back from lots of advocates all over the country who are blasting the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the regional offices with letters of negative reaction to the Chamber's opposition of ADA Restoration - keep it up!

Remember we can use this as an opportunity to thank or to educate your Members of Congress, as well. If your Representatives have co-sponsored ADA Restoration (check the link on the right-hand column to see if they have), include a short paragraph in your letter to the Chamber mentioning his or her support and applauding his or herleadership. Then, when you send your letters to the Chamber of Commerce offices, send a courtesy copy to your Representatives, as well. Write them separately to thank them or send them a quick e-correspondence from their website thanking them. If your Member hasn't co-sponsored, write or call his or her office and urge him or her to do so.
Share your updates! If you've written letters or made calls, let us know! Send your updates to aapdanne@earthlink.net and let us know if you'd like us to share your updates with others on the blog.
