A majority of the House is now co-sponsoring, but why the resistance in the Senate?

The case favoring the ADA Restoration Act is really quite strong. Only two senators in support-it would be unbeleivable if it weren't here in print!

"Resistance" is definitely not an accurate descriptor here, although admittedly, we haven't talked much here or in any other outlet about the Senate. Advocates in D.C. know of many Senators eager to co-sponsor and show their support of ADA Restoration, once focus is shifted in direction toward the Senate.

The aim has been to build unstoppable momentum in the House, work a clean bill through on the House-side, and then similarly build unstoppable momentum in the Senate.

Stay tuned - there will be much more Senate focus and coverage in coming weeks!
