Update on transcript availability...

The House Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties contacted AAPD today, providing an update on when the transcript of the hearing may be available. Originally, AAPD was told that a month is a standard wait time, but today, the Subcommittee indicated that they are looking at making it available sooner, perhaps as early as next week, in consideration of deaf and hard of hearing individuals who cannot make use of the uncaptioned webcast.

As soon as we hear more or the transcript becomes available, we'll post an additional update.
