Grassroots Hard at Work on ADA Restoration

The following update comes to us from Mary Tintes of Fargo, North Dakota:

Hello,

In the past month, [Freedom Center for Independent Living] has held gatherings in 3 cities in ND and MN, asking people to write letters to their senators urging support for the ADA Restoration Act. So far, there have been at least 80-100 letters sent to Senators Dorgan and Conrad, ND and Senators Klobuchar and Coleman, MN from constituents who gathered at these meetings.

Further, letters to the editor urging readers to support the legislation and to write to their senators have been published in 4 out of 5 major newspapers in the area served by our organization.

Happy New Year!
